Projects
I've always loved a good project, but when passion drives it—look out!
Attainable Housing
I share my passion for being a part of the Otsego Housing Task Force, which was created in May 2024 with the mission to "move housing forward." It's important to address the specific housing challenges and opportunities within our county, and being part of the task force allows me to help identify issues, suggest meaningful solutions, and prioritize initiatives to meet our community’s needs. I'm excited to contribute to solving our local housing issues and making attainable housing a reality for all!

Belize Pavilion Project
My love for Belize started when I was a teenager, and it's been a passion that has grown over the years. Now, I'm fortunate enough to help support and build a pavilion in Roaring Creek, which will be a central part of an after-school food program. This project allows me to give back to a place that has meant so much to me, and I’m thrilled to be part of making a difference in this community. *Pavilion should be built at the end of 2024 or beginning of 2025.

Greeting From Gaylord Mural
My husband, Patrick, and I painted a commercial building we own downtown and wanted to add something fun to a section of it. We teamed up with Dan Duncan from Duncan Studios in Boyne City to create the "Greetings from Gaylord" mural. It has been such a fun project, and we love seeing people stop to take photos and enjoy it!

Mural With a Mission Van
The "Greetings from Gaylord" mural is not just a work of art, but a community initiative designed to address critical needs in our area. By leveraging the "Mural with a Mission" van, we aim to create a mobile, impactful presence that advocates for attainable housing, supports local causes, and fosters a sense of community pride. Our vision is to use art as a catalyst for social change, engaging residents and visitors alike in a dialogue about the importance of sustainable, inclusive growth in Gaylord.
